Why we collect information and the type of information we collect

The data we collect from this website is only used to send an invite to the Healthera app. The form captures first name and surname, email, mobile number and your local branch. The invite is sent within 48 hours (during working days) and no further marketing will be sent if the app is not downloaded.

The form has an option to opt in for marketing, if this is ticked we will send further marketing information about Whitworth. You do have the option to opt out of this at any time.

How we collect and use it

In order to send you an invite to the Healthera app we need to understand where we are sending the invite (mobile number or email address) and for which branch you will be using. This data is only used to be able to send the invite which you are consenting to by entering and submitting your details.

Who we might share this information with

Your details are entered into the Healthera app in order for us to send the invite. Once the invite is sent the details are not visible to Whitworth Pharmacy. Please see Healthera’s privacy policy on how they hold data. Your data will not be shared with any other third party.

How long we will keep your information

We process your detail for the provision of healthcare services.

We hold your information for as long as advised by the NHS. You have a right to a copy of the information we hold for you (in paper or electronic form) and generally without charge. You may seek to rectify any inaccurate information.

For Non-NHS services we will keep your information for as long as you remain an active customer with us to assist you in placing future orders and to allow you to download, for example, VAT receipts should they be required. If your account becomes dormant we will delete your data after a period of 7 years.

Your rights to your information and making a complaint

You may object to us or any third party we have passed your information to, holding your information. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office. To make an objection or to request details of the information we hold or request a deletion please contact our Data Protection Officer as above.

Automated processing

We do not use automated decision making, including profiling.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how many people use this site and how they use it. Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. We do not collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.
